CUSTOMER CONTACT AGENT

The role holder is responsible for making appointments with existing clients, on behalf of our team of field -based consultants, on both an inbound and outbound call basis.  They are required to effectively manage the diaries of the various consultants to ensure that all appointments can go ahead as scheduled in line with our clients’ expectations.

 The role holder is responsible for answering inbound calls from clients, answering product related queries and making outbound welcome calls to new policy holders.

 The role holder is required to have a clear understanding of the various financial services available through Cornmarket and must outline the benefits of these services to our clients over the phone. There is also a requirement to undertake general administration duties within the team.

  1. Making/taking calls to/from members of the public sector unions to arrange appointments with the company’s field-based consultants
  2. Required to meet weekly/monthly targets
  3. Responsible for dealing with client queries/requests in a professional and timely manner
  4. Working to meet and exceed individual and team targets for both call volumes and appointment making.
  5. Responsible for completing Welcome calls with clients who took out a policy in the previous month ensuring agreed targets are met.
  6. Cross-selling other Cornmarket products / services
  7. Responsible for performing tasks in a compliant manner in line with the requirements of the Financial Regulator
  8. Working within a team to meet and exceed team targets
  9. Required to complete various administration duties, such as data entry/logging and scanning
  10. Communicate with customers & financial consultants regarding the progress of appointments.
  11. Participate in team meetings, look for and suggest ways in which existing processes could improve

This is an entry level position within the Life Services and Quality Control department, one which provides an ideal opportunity to individuals looking to carve out a future in financial services. The role holder will receive on the job training and coaching to enable them to excel in terms of their own contribution, all the while progressing towards attaining the APA designation in Life Assurance, Investments and Pensions.
