INTERNAL FINANCIAL SALES CONSULTANT - €45 -€50K OTE

Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd are currently recruiting for an ambitious and driven Internal Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in sophisticated sales environment while achieving a professional qualification. The internal consultant is responsible for providing best practice advice and selling particular life policies via the telephone.

Internal Sales - €45k-€50k OTE

The starting salary is up to €35k DOE plus €15k commission (uncapped) €45k-€50k OTE, comprehensive training provided and full educational support.

Duties of the role:

• Responsible for selling particular life policies via the telephone - salary protection, life policies (excluding PHI), Retired member’s life cover and Cornmarket Tax Service and AVC's. • Targets – each member of the team has individual quarterly targets, these targets are comprised of new business sales and KPIs based around compliance and performance in the role • Retaining existing business sold via the life sales external and internal team • Cancellation calls.  The team get calls from clients looking to cancel their salary protection, pension or savings policies, each consultant is responsible for dealing with these calls and give best advice in relation to the extent of cancellation will mean to client • Responsible for responding to a variety of lead sources, inbound calls, web enquiries and referrals. • Ad hoc duties such as paperwork and administration.

We are looking for candidates with ambition, the ability and willingness to work in a sophisticated sales environment. With strong interpersonal skills you will have the ability  to work on your own initiative while consistently meeting targets.  You will need a can-do will-do attitude with a relentless focus on providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will hold APA designation or full QFA, however we will support attaining such qualification.  

Experience Required for the role:

• Previous sales experience (financial services would be an advantage) • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills • Ability to work to deadlines and targets • Highly customer focused with strong attention to detail • Ability to adapt to tasks in a busy environment

This role is a 'controlled function' as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
