This programme is based on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and designed to help participants learn more about how we think and how this can influence our actions in helpful or unhelpful ways. The programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to learn helpful ways to deal with life's challenges, including people who are experiencing mild to moderate depression, stress and/or anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Programmes via Aware

Aware offer free online, self-direct learning programmes on sleep, stress, resilience and Covid-19 via Silver Cloud.

These programmes are based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and are designed to help you change some unhelpful behaviours and thoughts you may have. They will also help you develop new skills that you can use in everyday life to improve and look after your wellbeing.

The benefit of this programme is that it is completely self-directed, so you can do it at any time, at your own pace whenever you feel like it.

About each course

Space from stress

This programme is designed to help manage stress by helping participants identify and enhance existing strengths and skills, and build new ones.

It's self directed and consists of 8 modules which you can complete in your own time, within an 8 week period.

Space for sleep

Sleep is so important. Poor sleep can have a significant impact on your overall wellbeing. This programme is designed to help participants understand and overcome their sleeping difficulties by providing tools and techniques.

This programme is self directed and consists of 6 modules, which you can complete within a 6 week period.

Space for resilience

This program is a great boost for your overall wellbeing. In this programme, you'll learn about the five domains of resilience: purpose, self, connections, body and mind.

This programme is self directed and consists of 8 modules which you can complete within an 8 week period.

Space from Covid-19

At this unprecedented time, it's normal to feel anxious or low. This course will provide emotional coping strategies and practical solutions for maintaining well-being in a time of crisis. Other modules include: sleep difficulties, relaxation, mindfulness and grief & loss.
