Cornmarket believes in building a more sustainable future for us all.
Investing AVC members’ money in a responsible way helps make that a reality and is more likely to create and preserve long-term investment growth.
For the Investment Managers who are responsible for managing the investment funds, responsible investing is an integral part of the investment philosophy.
Environmental, Social and Governance refers to the three key factors used to measure the sustainability and societal impact of an investment in a company or business.
· Environmental criteria examines the environmental impact.
· Social criteria examines how a company manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers and communities.
· Governance criteria examines a company’s leadership, board diversity and independence as well as business ethics.
Please note: While the majority of money invested in AVCs through Cornmarket are invested in Article 8 funds, not all funds operated by the investment managers allow for ESG considerations (Article 6).
