What do you enjoy about working in Cornmarket?

Cornmarket has a great company culture, and this is down to the people that work here. There is a great sense of camaraderie both within teams and across different divisions within the company. I have made some great friends in Cornmarket over the past number of years, and I would genuinely say it is the people that make Cornmarket a really enjoyable place to work.

What does your typical day look like?

As Cornmarket’s Brand Manager, my role is very varied which keeps things interesting. A typical day involves liaising with our union partners and internal stakeholders on our brand presence at conferences, managing our team of graphic designers, looking after our sponsorship programmes including our partnership with the Breast Cancer Ireland Schools Programme, liaising with our HR Department on our internal company communications, and all things brand related from employer branding to specific brand campaigns.

What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead in Cornmarket?

This year marks Cornmarket’s 50th birthday and we are organising our 50th year branding and our company celebrations. We are hosting an event in the Mansion House to celebrate Cornmarket’s success over the past 50 years and to plan ahead for the future. It will be great to get staff together to celebrate our achievements as a company. It is a huge milestone for Cornmarket and I’m delighted to play a part in it.
