Claiming is easy, and you can do it in two ways.

1. Direct Pay

Find your nearest Direct Pay Network dental practice here

Then call DeCare on 1890 130 017 before your first dental appointment. They will confirm your dental insurance entitlements.

You can now book your first dental appointment – which may include a dental exam, a cleaning, x-rays and any urgent dental treatment. Let the practice know you want to use the Direct Pay service.

Then just bring your DeCare Dental Membership Card and photo ID with you to your dental appointment.

If you need further treatment, your dental practice will provide DeCare with a treatment plan for approval, before your next visit.

Your dental practice then submits your claim to DeCare, who pay your dental practice direct. You’ll only need to pay your dentist for the treatments or dental costs not covered on your plan – making the process simple and seamless.

2. Standard Claims Process

If you choose to attend a dentist that outside of DeCare’s Direct Payment network, you can still visit any dentist on DeCare’s dental directory.

Just pay your dentist as normal, then covered by your policy. If DeCare receives all the required information below, your claim will be processed within 10 working days*.

Before visiting the dentist

Download a dental insurance claim form below then bring a copy to the dental visit.

Visit to find a suitable dentist.

Check your dental insurance plan or call the customer service team on 1890 130 017 to check your level of cover.

Following your dental treatment, you simply pay the dentist and ask for a detailed receipt, which should include the info requested on the front of the dental insurance claim form.

If you require further dental treatment, ask your dentist for a detailed treatment plan. Then post or email this plan to the dental insurance customer service team. It’s important they confirm the treatment is covered on your dental insurance plan – before your treatment.

You can submit a dental insurance claim as soon as your course of treatment is complete.

DeCare will assess the claim and reimburse you directly into your bank account*.

Once all required information is provided, dental insurance claims are processed within 10 working days*.
