We’re delighted to be one of the sponsors of this year’s Great Pink Run. We have a longstanding partnership with Breast Cancer Ireland and are proud to be involved. The aim is to turn the globe pink, with participants being encouraged to run, walk or jog the circumference of the globe (40,700km) over the course of the event weekend on the 16th & 17th October 2021. This year’s event will take place virtually and is open to families, groups and solo participants with an option to complete either 5km or 10km.
*Since 2011, over 60,000 people have participated in the Great Pink Run, raising over €3.5 million euro to support pioneering research across Ireland – Breast Cancer Ireland’s mission is to transform this disease, from an often fatal disease, to a treatable illness that can be maintained long-term. Sadly, breast cancer doesn’t discriminate, affecting women (and indeed men) of all ages, and ethnicities. The charity’s fundraising goal is to develop new and more effective targeted therapies for patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
We are delighted to be supporting this year’s Great Pink Run, our partnership with Breast Cancer Ireland has grown over the last number of year’s through the Breast Health Awareness & Education Programme. The Great Pink Run is another great opportunity to support the work that Breast Cancer Ireland do in driving awareness of breast cancer.
